SmartStreamer4

Run external decoders against your FlexRadio. SmartStreamer4 streams DAX-IQ audio into CW Skimmer, one instance per slice, and reconciles the decoded spots back to the radio; in Digital Mode it configures and launches per-slice WSJT-X, JTDX, or WSJT-Z instances wired to DAX audio and SmartSDR CAT. It runs alongside SmartSDR 4.x.

Download v0.3.1

Released 2026-08-05. SHA-256 checksum · Release notes. SmartStreamer4 is free and MIT licensed.

What it does

SmartStreamer4's Launch tab in the Dark theme, connected to a FlexRadio station, showing two discovered stations with a slice each and the CW and Digital mode list. The SmartDeck control panel in the Dark theme, showing slice A on 14.055.000 MHz in CW, band buttons with 20m selected, RX and TX antenna buttons, RF gain, AGC-T, and TX power steppers, and a row of forward power, SWR, temperature, and voltage readouts.

SmartStreamer4 needs Windows 10 or 11 and SmartSDR 4.x with DAX installed on the same PC. CW Mode needs CW Skimmer; Digital Mode needs WSJT-X, JTDX, or WSJT-Z.

Installing

Unzip the download and run SmartStreamer4.exe. There is no installer. Allow firewall access if Windows prompts. Windows SmartScreen may warn the first time because the app is not code-signed: choose More info, then Run anyway.

Updating from any earlier version, including the v0.1.x betas, works the same way: replace the executable and run it. Your settings are kept.
